Podcast interview with Balanced Ballerinas

July 11, 2022

Thank you to Georgia Dostal from the Balanced Ballerinas podcast for having me on for a chat! I’ve copied below her post text because she summarises our interview perfectly. 👩🏻‍⚖️🩰

I have a new podcast episode for you with my wonderful friend Zara who is an ex lawyer turned ballet teacher.

Zara and I studied at The Australian Ballet School together and have reconnected in the last couple of years as she enters the world of teaching ballet.

Zara has a fascinating story, leaving the world of pre-professional ballet for life as a law student and lawyer, to eventually find her way back to ballet.

I just love that she's fallen back in love with ballet and sharing her passion with her own students now.

We talk about…

✨ following your heart
✨ unique ballet journeys
✨ important interpersonal skills
✨ running adult ballet classes
✨ working with children
✨ healing through ballet
✨ challenges and mindset

You can listen to the episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your pod fix!
