Little article about me by sports journalist Tahlia Sinclair for Siren Sport. You can read the whole thing here.

My only clarification is that I joined the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School when I was 13, and then Australian Ballet School when I was 16.

I was just talking to a friend about it and remembered that I actually was asked to join the Australian Ballet School when I was 12 when I had just moved over to Melbourne from Tassie. I was attending the ABS summer school and a Russian teacher Nina took a liking to me and took me to Leigh Rowle’s office (the head of the junior school) to tell her to take me into Level 4 (the last of the junior school levels before you entered full-time training, back then.) Anyway they offered me a spot in Level 3, but I didn’t end up joining in the end. As it was quite expensive and I was already enrolled somewhere else.

Anyway ^ very textbook budding ballerina story there! Haha.
