Interview with Legal Brew

May 11, 2019

I recently did an interview with Candice Tan from Legal Brew discussing my up and down career path from ballet to law, my creative side business Edward Kwan and the importance of mindset. If you would like to read it, click here :)

From a law perspective, I'd love if my article could inspire law students to see that while some people have a smooth sailing career path, others take a bit longer to find their place and that's ok and more common than you think! It's something I wish I received more support on when I started out in the law.

From a bow tie perspective, I talk about how I accidentally started Edward Kwan while in law school, what it’s like running the business and the creative process behind my custom hand painted bow tie orders. I also talk about my time at the Australian Ballet School and the challenges young ballet dancers face.

In doing the interview with Candice, I learnt so much about myself (cliché I know) but I honestly did! I hope you enjoy reading it :)
