This workshop will not be available via livestream, as it is our first time running a physiotherapy workshop. But perhaps in the future.
Experience level: All levels of ballet experience welcome.
What to expect:
- The Space has 30 chairs, so it will be capped at 30 people.
- I will be the demo person if Brad needs to use a body. The rest of the time it will be Brad talking. He may or may not get you guys to try some exercises, but majority of the session will be lecture format. He will of course allow for questions, where appropriate/relevant/time permitting.
- We WILL have a projector after all, and will also send out reference material via email before the workshop. You can print it or bring your laptop with you if you like.
Topics to be covered:
- We are still taking requests from people and after you ‘add to cart’ there will be a pop up box where you can write what you would like Brad to talk about. I cannot guarantee that he will cover the topic you request - we will have a look at the requests and decide from there.
- So far we have received requests such as improving turn out, strength training for ballet, injury prevention/recovery for knees and ankles, dealing with hypermobility, developing foot strength and articulation.
